Words.

"Sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me??"
SO.. NOT TURE!!

Words can be so hurtful, to yourself, and others.

Watch what you say and contemplate before comunicating.

Things to remember..
Avoid words that tear down:
-profane words
-Angry words
-Slandering words
-Gossip words (things you would say behind a persons back, but not to their face)
-Flattering words (things you would say to a persons face, but not behind their back)

Use words, that build up:
-Encouraging words
-Thoughtful words
-Words of compassion

God wants us to love one another! So, THINK, before you SPEAK!! :)

His way, not mine!

Today: God taught me to be slow to anger.
A lot of times in the midst of things, you can caught up by doing things your way and become very stubborn. Why does God want us to be slow to anger? Because when we follow our own way and become stubborn, we harden our hearts. God doesnt want our hearts to be hardened. God says humble your hearts, don't harden them.

Today I found out the hard way just how more complicated things can get when you harden your heart and shut Jesus out. It doesn't solve the problem at alll (take my word for it!), it just makes you feel worse because chances are: the person you're fighting with is being stubborn over what youre fighting about and isn't going to budge either.
So today, soften your hearts. Give God a chance and do things His way (take my word for it! haha things will work out a loooot better). Whats God's way? Well, check out 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
